Though we might not know the date, one thing we do know is each day which passes is one day closer to reopening and it's important we are prepared and ready.
And while we are very excited about the thought of being able to welcome our members back into the gym, our number one priority will be to keep our staff, members and other visitors safe.
With this in mind we have completed a risk assessment with the aim of identifying the risks of reopening and putting control measures in place to mitigate these risks. We've decided to publish a DRAFT version of this risk assessment because we want to be as transparent as possible. We understand people will be nervous about returning to public places, especially gyms, so we want you to be able to make an informed decision about whether you feel safe to train with us.
Additionally, we hope by publishing the risk assessment someone might spot a risk we haven't identified, which we can be added to the risk assessment.
The risk assessment will be constantly reviewed as we do eventually reopen and as we receive more guidance.
Before we reopen we will be producing a video which will clearly outline our new ways of working with social distancing so it's completely clear to everyone what's expected when you come to train at DF. If anyone has any comments or concerns about the content of the risk assessment we really want to hear them, so please email firstname.lastname@example.org
